There is an interesting story to the Cambodia gambling dens that lie just over the border from nearby Thailand, where gambling hall wagering is banned. Eight gambling halls are established in a generally tiny area in the city of Poipet in Cambodia. One more Iowa riverboat casino, The Isle of Capri, is available 24 hours, with 24,939 sq.ft., 1,100 slot machines, and 24 table games. The Mississippi Belle II, a 10,577 sq.ft. paddle wheel boat casino in Clinton, has 506 slots, 14 table games, live shows, and Thursday blackjack matches.
